Brazilian Wood Struggle
The original palette of Brazilian.
Some of the beautiful pieces with nasty cracks, are often unusable.
My right hand man, Matthias Roux, and my younger son of five children, Shiloh.
Desapite the cracks, it went through the bandsaw and yielded some fabulous pieces.
Working with guitar templates, searching for the best yield.
A piece of Brazilian.
Colin looking for the best areas .
The initial cut with Skillsaw .
A guitarmaker's Pin-up .
Marc and Nathan
Pushing the pieces through the bandsaw.
Useable and unusable pieces.
Heartbreak! Only good for headstock veneers.
The struggle continues .
Billets waiting to be cut up.
A happy story.
